Syracuse is back in Sweet 16.
On Sunday, the No. 11 seeded Orange defeated No. 3 West Virginia 75-72 in the second round of the NCAA tournament. Syracuse, who reached the Sweet 16 for the final time in 2018, will face the winner of Sunday’s Rutgers-Houston matchup.
The great coach Jim’s son Buddy Boehm led the Orange with 25 points.
