A Texas teacher from Texas has been formally sentenced to four years for having sex with several younger students.
According to Texarkana Gazette, Former Texas teacher, Echelin Faye Bell, 24, was formally sentenced on Monday as she pleaded guilty to multiple sex offenses in April.
She admitted two charges of inappropriate relationship between teacher and student, including two counts of sexual harassment with a 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy.
“A jury tasked with setting Bell’s sentence, sentenced him to four years in prison on one count of sexual assault of a child and the remaining three counts.”
A former teacher’s aide was sentenced to prison and probation by a jury for sexual misconduct with three male high school students, who were in court for a formal sentence on Monday.
The jury also assessed the fine for crimes totaling $ 1,000 of a Texas teacher’s aide that Bell would have to pay as a condition of probation.
She appeared in court in front of Judge John Tidwell on Monday wearing a cuff, shawl and a chain encircling her waist.

Tidwell ordered Bell to serve 10 years of probation on a count of sexual assault of a child, which was recommended by the jury.
He also sentenced her to serve two to five years of probation on two counts of improper relations between teacher and student.
Bell testified Wednesday that he was not aware that the Texarkana Independent School District policy prohibited employees other than teachers who had sex with students.

She remains in the Bowie County Jail until law enforcement is able to take her to a unit of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
During her sentencing-a-trial in April, the jury heard how Bell lured boys into sexual relationships through her work as a high school aide.
She often arranges for her to meet with the boys at school, with her young daughter in an out-of-the-way seat, and takes them to her home for encounters, The Toronto Sun previously reported.
According to police, Bell used his work at Texas High School in Texarkana for several sexual encounters with boys in the fall of 2019.
A Texas teacher’s aide previously said she did not know that it was illegal for her to have sex with students, because she was not a teacher.
She also testified that she believed the students were all 18 or older.
Bell also argued that the students were sexual assailants in their encounters.
A prosecutor previously said, “You all saw here that when the truth was better, there would have been a lie.” “I have heard of all the victims who want to blame me.”
The court was told that she would go to a truck stop to pick up her teenage lovers from school after work in 2019, and often had sex in the car while her three-year-old daughter slept in the back of the car.
