Thieves fired gun at parking garage worker, stolen cars: video

A pair of thieves were caught on surveillance video pulling a gun at a Manhattan parking garage employee – and then driving at a BMW and Mercedes.

Two people entered a garage on 181st Street, west of Hightson Avenue in Washington, around 8 a.m. Sunday – one of them shown in a video of a scooter moving.

He said there was an attempt to open a car door, from which one of the men told the attendant, “We are here to get a rental car,” sources said.

When the worker told them that they did not rent the vehicles, one of the suspects held a gun to his head and according to sources and footage, he was taken to a back room.

Meanwhile, the other suspect is shown a rifle through something on the desk.

The gunman told the attendant to step down and remain calm, and he complied, sources said.

He said to use a Pennsylvania plate with a blue 2015 Mercedes Benz C30, and a 2014 black BMW 335i xDrive, and stopped in both cars, police said.
