Tom Brady’s ticket prices to face the Patriots in New England are absurd

How much would you pay to see a goat?

Tom Brady is set to make his comeback in Foxboro, Mass. This fall is in Week 4 of the 2021 season with the Buccaneers heading to Gillette Stadium to take on Bill Belichick and the Patriots.

Of course, Brady is returning to New England for the first time since joining the Buccaneers and winning Super Bowl 55 – his seventh, and first outside of New England – so fans will surely stand in line to see him. But it will not be cheap.

Bleacher Report’s Master Tesfatation shows, tickets for the Patts-Bucks matchup are going to be extremely expensive, with high-end seats at $ 9,000 per pop.

Fans will pay $ 1,400 or MacBook for a cheap ticket:

For comparison, tickets for the Week 7 Jets vs. Patriots matchup correspond to a typical Pats home game: $ 300 for a cheaper ticket, up to about $ 1,200 for more expensive seats.

Brady and Belichick are going to lead such an interesting storyline in their NFL careers for the first time: Will Mack Jones start at that point? Will the Patriots fight?

Perhaps, however, the most interesting question: Why would a Patriots fan want to pay such a high price to see Brady’s return? Okay, people pay for boxing pay-per-view for one of two reasons: to see greatness, or to knock out fighters.

Maybe here is a mixture of both.
