Officials said members of the Minnesota National Guard and a team of Minneapolis police officers were targeted during a shooting in the city early Sunday.

Gov. Tim Walz said he spoke with two injured guardsmen, one in his 30s and the other in his 40s, and said he was “fine,” According to cnn.

Democrat also urged calm in the verdict in the Chauvin trial. The gamblers are set to begin deliberations from Monday.
