Two NYC women arrested on board American Airlines flight

According to reports, two Bronx women diverted an American Airlines flight due to their “disturbing and unacceptable” behavior.

30-year-old Kelly Pichardo and 29-year-old Lisa Rodriguez boarded Flight 776 from Dallas-Fort Worth to Los Angeles on Wednesday when a male passenger asked them to stop using offensive language in their conversation, CBS DFW reported.

He allegedly spit Picardo at the man who began recording them, Phoenix Police Sergeant said. After the plane, Mercedes Fortune departed for Sky Harbor International Airport in the city of Arizona.

Fortune said Rodriguez was also charged with assaulting her to prevent her from recording him by hand.

“Upon arrival, the flight was completed by local law enforcement, who verbally and physically removed and arrested two individuals along with other customers and flight crew members,” American Airlines told CBS DFW in a statement.

“His behavior was disturbing and unacceptable, and he has been placed on the internal denial list pending further investigation. We continue to investigate the incident and are working directly with affected customers to ensure their well-being. “

Rodriguez was also accused of hitting him on the arm to prevent him from recording.
