Yankee injury updates: Clint Frazier, Luke Voight

TAMPA – Luke Voyt was shattered from Tuesday’s game against the Tigers in Lakeland, Fla., With what manager Aaron Boone called “little knee pain”.

Boone said he believed the first baseman should be “good to go” by Thursday, and that he was practicing defensively at base before the game against the Pirates at Stevenbrenner Field on Wednesday.

According to Boon, Clint Frazier appears to be fine after crashing into the left field wall.

Frazier was not scheduled to play on Wednesday, and Boone said the outfielder texted him was “feeling strong.”

Frazier remained in Tuesday’s game for one inning before being removed and it is expected that on Thursday he will be in the lineup against the Phillies in Clearwater, Fla.

Deivi Garcia is making his case for a spot in the rotation, and Boone said that Te wants to keep him as a starter before using him in the bulls.

Bonnie said, “Devi, we are someone who is a very good starter in this league. “As an industry, you always want to eliminate the opportunity to start someone because of the value. The more people talk about the devaluation of the beginning, the reality is, they are worth more than ever. “

Other young pitchers could be the head of the bullpen if Nick Nelson has no place in the rotation with Boone Singing, who can start when needed and pen multiple innings.

“It’s fluid, depends on the team’s needs and the balance is the best way to develop them.”

Estevan Florial finally made it to camp and did live batting practice on Tuesday. He was dealing with visa issues. The 23-year-old outfield prospect made his debut with the Yankees last season, appearing in just one game.

The Yankees are separating the pitches of Gilli Cole and Jameson Tillenone to go on Friday, with Cole starting Thursday.
