1 in 4 adults in the US received their first vaccine dose

On Wednesday, a White House official said that one in four adults in the United States had received their first shot of a coronovirus vaccine.

According to the latest data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than 95.7 million COVID-19 doses have been administered since it began in mid-December.

According to CDC data, more than 62.4 million people, or 18.8 percent, have taken at least one vaccine shot, while 32.9 million people, or 9.9 percent, have been fully vaccinated.

There are currently three COVID-19 vaccines available in the US – a two-dose pill made by Pfizer, another two-dose pill by Modern, and a newly-approved single-dose tablet by Johnson & Johnson.
