15-year-old girl blames DC Uber Eats driver for murder

A report states that one of two teenage girls has pleaded guilty to hooliganism on charges of killing a booed briquette driver in Washington DC.

The 15-year-old – who is not publicly identified – filed the petition on Wednesday, WTOP News It was reported on Tuesday, and sentenced on June 4 to murder 66-year-old Mohammed Anwar near National Park in the southeast section of the country’s capital.

The teenager and a 13-year-old allegedly used a stun-gun to jack up the Pakistani immigrant Honda and then clung to the side of his car with him. When he crashed and the vehicle slipped, he flew badly on the sidewalk.

It was not immediately clear if the case was the result of a large juvenile’s guilty plea with the prosecution. But other charges against him have been dropped, the report said, citing a DC Superior Court spokesman.

The teen and younger suspects were originally charged with murder, murder and armed robbery in a fatal incident.

The report stated that the 13-year-old still faces charges. A hearing is scheduled for that next week.

According to a past Washington Post reports, Under DC law, a 13-year-old cannot be charged as an adult – even in a murder case.

In juvenile court in the district, defendants who are found “responsible” – meaning guilty – can only be kept in prison until the age of 21, according to the outlet.
