Aaron Rodgers makes insane throw at Packers’ training camp

Packers’ fans are happy to have Aaron Rodgers back.

The 37-year-old showed off his pinpoint accuracy after practice Thursday. From around the 30-yard line, he threw the football into a small net in the back of the end zone, perfectly hitting his one-foot target from almost 50 yards away.

The crowd went crazy watching the throw. And unlike Tom Brady’s fake viral video of him throwing a football into a Jugs machine posted earlier this summer, Rodgers’ long-distance snipe was real.

After a tumultuous offseason that included reports claiming Rodgers may not play with the franchise again, the Chico, Calif. native returned to the Packers last week and is already making highlight-reel plays.

The nine-time Pro Bowler is still one of the best quarterbacks in football, leading the Packers to two-straight NFC Championship games – he lost to Brady’s Buccaneers last year and the 49ers the year prior.

However, Rodgers has won something recently: the 2020 AP Most Valuable Player award, after throwing for 4,299 yards, 48 touchdowns and five interceptions, while notching a QBR of 84.3.

And Thursday, he won something else: best throw of the offseason.
