Angel Hernandez dismisses three royals in latest ump defeat

Another day, another Angel Hernández defeat.

The MLB’s worst umpire on Wednesday night ejected three Royals members in the same innings for the second time in the Indians-Royals series. Hernandez blew a call the night before when he speculated on a play that was to be overturned because he was “blindfolded by the outfield scoreboard.”

In the top of the Indians’ 5-4 sixth win on Wednesday, Kansas City manager Mike Mathen and pitching coach Cal Eldred were evicted, as Hernandez was called a bald at an attempted pick-up at second base. Matheny came out of the dugout to have word with Hernandez, who then overheard a comment from Eldred and threw him out immediately.

Eldred was furious and the two coaches set out to confront Hernandez, with Matheny preventing Aldred from getting out of the face of a historically bad umpire. Methane was sent to rain but continued to harass Hernandez.

After things calmed down a bit, acting manager Pedro Griffol came out of the mound to remove the pitcher to Brady Singer. On the way to the dugout, Singer briefly popped into Hernandez’s face and possibly let him know what they thought of his performance, which led to his third rejection.

“I’m fighting for the team there,” singer Told reporters after the game. “It’s a big game. We are trying to get back into the series. And you are getting that stuff. I am fighting for the people. I am trying to win. You have found other factors in the game. it’s useless. I’m trying to win games like hell and stuff like that. How is kinda I guess.”
