Antonio Brown contract details: Buccaneers re-sign wide receiver for low-cost deal

While the Buccaneers did most of their weightlifting in the first offseason, returning all 22 of them after their Super Bowl 55 victory, they added another familiar face, re-signing Antonio Brown on Wednesday morning.

The Buccaneers were planning to re-sign Brown when his last permanent legal case was settled, which was on April 21.

Per report, Brown’s deal is up to $ 6.25 million and fully guaranteed $ 3.1 million with a $ 2 million bonus, with Brown still having a relatively low-cost move to a solid receiver.

Brown’s signature is the latest in a rash of offshin moves for GM Jason Lict and the Bucs. The team re-signed all of their starting cores from the 2020 season, with Brown Cherry on top.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelisserso reports that head coach Bruce Arians and quarterback Tom Brady have kept Brown on the straight and narrow despite Brown’s various run-ins with the law in previous seasons.

One of Brown’s last permanent legal issues, a civil suit, was settled last week.

In eight matches with the Bucs last year, Brown caught passes for 483 yards and four touchdowns.
