“Below Deck Sailing Yacht” co-stars Daisy Kelliher and Gary King both tease that their steamy hot tub makeout session wasn’t an isolated incident.
“I don’t think it was a one-time thing,” Kelliher tells Page Six, teasing that their relationship is “complicated.”
“I think the best way to describe it is platonic. We kind of almost act like a couple, but we’re just friends.”
The chief stewardess explains that the two are still “trying to figure out” their “complicated” relationship.
“We kind of hate each other, but we love each other,” Kelliher adds. “So sometimes you’re a bit like, ‘Oh, well, maybe we should just make out.’ And afterwards you’re like, ‘Oh, no, we should never do that again.’ So it was complicated for us … I think it was all a bit of a rollercoaster.”
Kelliher, 34, adds that while she and King have a makeout session here or there, they still get into arguments.
“Like we definitely got into some arguments again this year,” she says. “We’re both very stubborn and passionate about what we do. So along the way, we’re trying to figure it out, and trust me, it’s going to be just as confusing for everybody as it was for us.”
Meanwhile, King, 33, also tells us he found their boatmance “enjoyable.”
“I think Daisy and I’ve always had this like underlying thing for each other. Maybe that’s just from my part, I don’t know.”
The first mate acknowledged that the two didn’t leave on the “best terms” after Season 2, but luckily that changed throughout Season 3.
“Seeing how our relationship builds is one of one of the best things that came out with Season 3, because I don’t work with people that I don’t get along with,” King says. “And Daisy and I didn’t end well, but then this season we actually had a great season together.”
While both Bravolebrities are currently single, King teases that he could see “something more” with Kelliher.
“I like Daisy. I think she’s a great girl. I just think it’s quite difficult to have a relationship when you’re working on a yacht and you might only see each other once every six months or something like that,” he tells us. “So I think in the future, if Daisy and I ever see each other, maybe we will see where it takes us.”
Season 3 of “Below Deck Sailing Yacht” premieres Monday at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
