Boy, 15, clings to life after shooting NYC drive-by

Police said a 15-year-old boy was shot and seriously injured in Brooklyn late Thursday evening.

The teenager was standing in front of a building on North Portland Avenue near Park Avenue, part of Walt Whitman House, Fort Greene, at about 10:50 a.m. when someone fired from a gray car – possibly a Honda – and shot him in the head. Was killed. Police said.

Police said it appeared that the teenager was the target. The shooter lives on a large scale.

Authorities said he was taken to Methodist Hospital, and his injuries were considered fatal.

Also in Brooklyn, a 20-year-old man was blasted to the chest in the grounds of Cansey’s Bay View Houses on East 102nd Street, around 12:10 p.m.

The shooting occurred during a dispute with five teenagers, police said.

The victim, whose name was not immediately released, was taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead at around 12:30 p.m.

No arrests have been made.
