A couple of thieves used a hammer to smash the glass door at the front of the high-end store in Soho – and they locked in Thursday with $ 33,000 in luxury goods, police said.
The two thieves entered Dyer New York Soho on Green Street at 12:40 a.m. Wednesday before removing handbags, book totes and scarves, among other items.
One of the bags was described as a Blue Christian Dior Oblique book, which bears the designer’s name and cost $ 3,200, police said.
Police said the two miscreants fled in a dark-colored sedan.
