California police find crocodiles at home during drug busts

Officials said police were greeted by a four-foot live crocodile busting the drug at a waterfront home in California.

Officers located the crocodile just before 6:30 pm during a search of 44-year-old Donny Askar’s home in Oxney. According to the Oxnard Police Department.

Heroin, methamphetamine and cocaine were also allegedly found at the residence.

The reptile was submerged in water “in a tank filled with spoiled water,” with police saying they were worried that it would survive in the Channel Islands Harbor because Oscar’s house is near the sea.

Officers from the California Fish and Wildlife Department arrived at the scene to secure the crocodile.

Meanwhile, the police arrested Oscar and charged him with drug possession and animal cruelty.
