Cody Bellinger has a baby on the way.
The Dodgers star and girlfriend Chase Carter are expecting a child together, the Bahamian model revealed in a post on Instagram, debuting her baby bump at 20 weeks.
Carter broke the news Tuesday, while celebrating Bellinger’s 26th birthday, which included a helicopter ride and red roses.
“Happy birthday to my baby daddy,” Carter captioned the photos that showed her cradling her belly in a black long-sleeve top and Jordan Brand cargo pants.
“Ay ay ayyyyyyyy!,” Bellinger wrote in the comments.
The two-time All-Star and 2020 World Series Champion also re-posted Carter’s pregnancy news to his Instagram Story with a red heart emoji.
Bellinger and Carter went public with their romance last August, when a photo of the pair holding hands emerged online. The model was by Bellinger’s bedside when he underwent shoulder surgery in November 2020.
He also paid tribute to Carter on Valentine’s Day in a post on Instagram that featured a number of photos of the couple.
Carter joined the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Class of 2018, and has modeled for top designers, including Ralph Lauren and Philipp Plein.
The self-described sports fanatic was previously linked to Yankees star Giancarlo Stanton in 2019, after a string of hangouts and social media posts tied the two romantically.
