Cuomo investigation must be completed before any action

Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie said Sunday that sexual harassment allegations against Gove should be investigated. Andrew Cuomo must be completed before any action can be taken against him.

Christie reports that state Attorney General Letitia James has launched an investigation into the claims and has hired two attorneys – Joon Kim, a former acting US attorney for the Southern District of New York and Anne Clarke, an attorney for employment discrimination.

“Let them investigate,” Christie Said on ABC News ” This Week, ”And if it confirms the claims, “then action must be taken.”

Christie said he has followed the same advice after facing the claims of Democrats to former President Donald Trump.

“I can’t be a hypocrite on this. I’ve been sitting here for years when Democrats were demanding things from President Trump before the investigation was complete and I’d say, ‘Wait, we have to let the investigation go forward, let’s get all the facts.’ Listen to and then decide ‘”she said.

“Well, if I’m going to sit there and say that about Donald Trump, which I’ve done, I have to say exactly the same thing about Andrew Cuomo if I’m going to be consistent,” he said. He said that no concrete steps have been taken by the government to prevent such incidents.

He said that Cuomo should get the same view given to Trump.

“And if I say something different, we will play the same polarizing politics that we are playing in this country.” If this is true for Republicans, it is also true for Democrats, ”said Christie, who was New Jersey’s governor until 2018.

Several Democrats in New York, including Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, have called on the governor to step down amid allegations of seven women. He said that no concrete steps have been taken by the government to prevent such incidents.

Kyomo, who has denied any wrongdoing, has vowed not to resign, stating that he will not “revoke the culture”.
