Destiny 2 fans already hate Bungie’s new armor transmog system

Bungie finally revealed Destiny 2The new armor is the Transmog system, which lets players transform one piece of armor into another visually without affecting their stats. The studio broke down on how the system would work in its usual Thursday blog, ahead of the feature’s launch on 11 May. But the system seems to have some limitations, especially a limit designed to milk more money from players, making the streamer and fans alike. There is an uproar on Twitter to give their feedback.

The transmog system – also called Bungie “armor synthesis” – brings Ada-1 back to the tower. Ada and her loom will help players unlock appearances of items they have already earned, converting them into universal jewels that the Guardian can equip on any piece of armor.

But the process of replacing these armor pieces is a bit complicated, so to say the least. First, fans will need to go on an adventure in the world and kill some enemies, passively creating synthrands for themselves as they play. Once they have enough synthrand (150), they can buy a special reward for Ada-1 who offer synthesord. Once the Guardians exhaust their reward, they can take their new synthord and trade it in Ada-1 for Synthway – if you’re keeping track, this is the third synth-like currency.

Players can use that Synthweave to unlock armor displays for the Transmog system. This applies to any armor fate 2, Be it mythological or general quality. There are some armor sets that will not be available at launch due to some technical difficulties.

It is a lengthy process to unlock a presence for a piece of armor, but it is not really the main issue of players. Most fans take umbrage with Bungi’s artificial limit of how many items a player can transmute per season. Each player can earn up to 10 synthave in each season (typically a period of three months) on each character class. This means that dedicated fans can turn 30 pieces of armor into 10 counts per season. Bungie will double this limit for the system’s inaugural season, which will likely last until fall.

Fans can actually circumvent this limitation and lengthy discovery by using currency, silver. A single Synth template token will give players 300 silvers ($ 3), while five tokens will cost 1,000 silvers ($ 10).

Twitter exploded with thousands of transmogs as soon as Bungie’s blog went up. Most of them looked like this:

The 10 transjog tokens per class, per season ban bother fans the most, while the highly complex synth currency system is a minor complaint. It is one of the biggest Destiny fan since Bungie first introduced the Weapon Sunset system.

The system is only a few weeks old, but it is possible that Bungy can make some adjustments. The studio recently went back to Weapon Sunset and removed it from the game after only a few months. One of Destiny 2The community managers and author of the blog post said He and the team are gathering feedback About the transmog system.

The newest season of Bungi, which is still not officially named, will launch on 11 May.
