The night before the Oscars, the scene at Sunset Tower’s Terrace Bar would’ve been the envy of any A-list party planner – with guests including Dua Lipa, Robert Pattinson, Orlando Bloom and many more, insiders told Page Six.
Lipa was spotted dining by the hotel’s pool, we hear, at a table with pals including Katy Perry’s go-to stylist Johnny Wujek and hit songwriter Sarah Hudson.
Hudson – who has collaborated on a number of tunes with the “One Kiss” singer, 26 – was celebrating her birthday, spies told us.
Waiters were seen bringing out a cake for the well-tattooed songwriter. Lipa (chic in a short skirt and higher-than-thigh-high boots) led the table in singing “Happy Birthday,” sources said.
Lipa – who’s currently on her “Future Nostalgia” tour – was headed to play San Jose, Calif., on Sunday night after performing two show’s at the LA Forum last week.
A table away from the pop star, Robert Pattinson, 35, was dining with girlfriend Suki Waterhouse, 30, and two others, sources said. “The Batman” star was dressed down in a trucker hat, we hear.
Across the room, Sunset Tower regular John Mayer was with a group that included former “Mad Men” star Kiernan Shipka, while Casey Affleck sat at another table nearby.
Later at the hotel’s Terrace, members of hip-hop boy band Brockhampton took over a large table. The group recently announced they’re taking an “indefinite hiatus” after their upcoming Coachella shows next month.
Stopping by the group’s table after midnight was “Euphoria” star Dominic Fike, 26, as well as series creator Sam Levinson. The show’s Hunter Schafer was also seen arriving separately at the hotel, spies said. “Euphoria” executive producer Kevin Turen was also spotted, we hear.
Meanwhile, Orlando Bloom turned up with “Don’t Look Up” star Himesh Patel.
The Tower Bar at Jeff Klein’s Sunset Tower Hotel is known as a major celebrity hotspot, while its Terrace Bar has increasingly become an ultra hip hangout for young Hollywood.
