Father arrested in case of child’s death by begging for help from public

A few days after Alabama’s father is busted for the death of his missing 5-week-old boy, he begged the public for help in finding his son.

Caleb Michael Whisnand Sr., 32, was arrested on Wednesday following suspicion in Montgomery after the remains of his son, Caleb “CJ” Wisnand Jr., were found, AL.com reported.

Authorities said Whisnand called 911 to report a missing child from the Circle’s convenience store outside Montgomery at around 10:45 a.m. Monday night, but they have provided some other details about the child’s disappearance.

Whisnand Sr. and the child’s mother, Angela Gardner, showed up at a press conference on Wednesday in which they offered conflicting accounts, initially claiming that the last time they saw CJ was with them Saturday night.

“I don’t remember much. But I remembered that I was breaking up with the police. If anyone’s got anything, I can go.

But Gardner then stated that Whisnand told him that the child had disappeared with him at the gas station on Monday night.

“He went to the gas station to get pay gas and realized that he was gone. She told the police, and I know, that she was missing… find her, please, ”she said.

Whisnand said he did not know who would take the child and pleaded for her safe return.

“It would mean everything to us. It is to make sure the family is not the same without the family.” It is taking a toll on everyone. “
