“Shahs of Sunset” star Golnesa ‘GG’ Gharachedaghi dragged her co-star Mike Shouhed for deleting her anti-gun comment on his recent shooting range post.
“I’m so confused? Aren’t I allowed to have an opinion that’s different than yours or do you delete anything in disagreement with you?” she captioned a screenshot of her comment on her own Instagram on Monday.
The “Genuinely GG” podcast host then explained her anti-gun stance, claiming that in third grade she witnessed a student get shot.
“I saw my classmate get shot right in front of me twice in the back while we were playing kick-ball during lunch break (he survived because the pellets spread),” she wrote, although she did not specify what type of gun.
“Someone was simply playing target practice on us kids that day. He was only 20 yards from me when he got shot. The shooter was later caught and had a license for his guns but was also having psychological issues.”
Gharachedaghi acknowledged that while she used to enjoy going to shooting ranges, she has changed her stance after educating herself.
“I truly believe in my heart of hearts, that guns aren’t the answer. You are ALL welcome to voice your opinions here. Let’s learn from each other,” she concluded.
On Monday, Shouhed posted a photo of his fiancé Paulina Ben-Cohen shooting a gun at a gun club and said they were “stay[ing] prepared.”
In the comment that Gharachedaghi claims was deleted, she wrote that it “makes no difference how many weapons you have” and unless you’re armed at all times guns need to be locked away in a safe.
“Are you planning to ask the perpetrator to wait while you go grab your weapons? Maybe stop promoting guns and go get yourself some powerful dogs. They’ll protect you and take the bullet while you run free. Guns suck!!!!!”
A source told Page Six of the drama, “It’s surprising someone would put up a post like that less than 2 weeks after a major school shooting,” referring to the school shooting in Michigan that left four students dead on Nov. 30.
Reps for Gharachedaghi, Shouhed, and Ben-Cohen didn’t immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
