‘iCarly’ star Janet McCary has quit acting

Fans of Nickelodeon’s “iCarly” can count on series co-star Janet McCready, who has all confirmed that she will not be reprising her role as Sam Pickett in the upcoming sequel season.

28-year-old McCready confessed that he is “embarrassed” of his previous acting career, in a recent episode of a podcast that he said was “empty inside”.

He said, “My experience with acting is, I am very embarrassed by the parts I have done in the past.” He said, ‘I resent my career in a lot of ways. I feel so incomplete with the roles that I play and feel that this is the most embarrassing, embarrassing. “

Along with McRudi, “iCarly” also stars Miranda Cosgrove (Carly Shee) and aired on Nickelodeon from 2007 to 2012. His character later moved to the Nick series “Sam & Cat”, which marked the debut of pop star Ariana Grande (aka Cat Valentine).

“I showed that I was like 13 to 21, and by 15, I was already embarrassed,” McCurr recalled. “At 15 years old my friend, they’re not like, ‘Oh, cool, you’re on this Nickelodeon show.” it was embarrassing. “I wrote this one-woman show, and I did that, and I really didn’t want to because of nerves. Because of feeling like I don’t want to act anymore,” she said.

But she would not say “never,” saying that the right director could take her back to the set.
