Jamie Foxx gives a great portrayal of football coach at Georgia Tech

Actor, singer, songwriter, comedian … there’s nothing Jamie Foxx can’t do.

Including, it appears, coaching.

Georgia Tech posted a viral clip of the entertainment Saturday depicting a football coach. Not only did Foxx get the southern accent right, but it also added some football vocabulary, colorful language, and physical comedy to really tie the performance together.

All told, it is surprising that not everyone around him tries to suit up and go to the arena:

He certainly delivered from Al Pacino “on any given Sunday.”

But what exactly was Foxx doing in Atlanta? According to a report from Atlanta Journal-Constitution

, He was in the city to shoot a film and needed a gym where he could work without putting his eyes on it.

He was able to secure Georgia Tech’s wet room through his association with former Yellow Jackets linebacker Osaho Tongo, who played at Tech in 2006 through ’09. Tongo is now a filmmaker in Los Angeles, and worked with FoxX on an as-yet-released science-fiction comedy for Netflix, titled “They Cloned Tyrone.”
