“Sex and the City” star John Corbett revealed to Page Six that he would reprise his role of Carrie Bradshaw’s former fiancé Aidan Shaw in the hotly anticipated show reboot.
“I’m going to do the show,” he told us in a new interview, saying the news was “very exciting” for him.
As to how many episodes he would appear in, Corbett said, “I think I might be short enough.”
“I like all those people, they have been very good to me,” he said.
HBO declined to comment.
At the long-running HBO show, 59-year-old Corbett played the role of helpless furniture designer Aidan, whom Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie betrayed not only to Mr. Big (Chris Nath), but later when he wanted to get married, Then dumped. He appeared in the sequel to the film, which is his former love in Abu Dhabi, where the two are walking in sharing a romantic meal and even a kiss.
