Lady in red.
Kate Middleton stepped out in London on Tuesday to give a kickoff speech for Forward Trust’s “Taking Action on Addiction” campaign, dressed in a high-low mix that has us ready for the holiday season.
The Duchess of Cambridge, 39, tucked a red cashmere Polo Ralph Lauren turtleneck ($248) into a matching pleated midi skirt by Christopher Kane ($995).
She accessorized her fiery ‘fit with nude Ralph Lauren pumps ($675) and a tiny DeMellier “Nano Montreal” bag ($395) in the same creamy shade — but it was her choice of jewelry that really caught our eye.
In place of diamonds or pearls, Middleton picked a pair of Asos twisted hoop earrings that retail for just $14.50, and yet are somehow still in stock.
She previously paired the affordable hoops with a red-and-black houndstooth dress by Alessandra Rich and black Jennifer Chamandi pumps ($750) for a visit to the Victoria and Albert Museum in May.
The earrings come plated with 14-karat gold and are “selling fast,” according to the website — so if you want to snag a piece of the Duchess’ style, you’d better move quickly.
