Could Khloé Kardashian and Trey Songz be rekindling their past romance?
The exes hit up The Nice Guy in West Hollywood on Saturday night to attend an intimate party hosted by Justin Bieber, where they sat next to each other in the same booth and engaged in plenty of one-on-one conversations, Page Six has exclusively learned.
Though the event was a group setting of about 20 people, sources familiar with the situation tell us that Kardashian and Songz, both 37, spent a good chunk of the night together.
We’re told the two made sure they had their alone time, even though the reality star’s bodyguard was close by.
Page Six has reached out to reps for Kardashian and Songz for comment.
Kardashian and Songz (real name: Tremaine Aldon Neverson) actually go way back. In July 2016, they were spotted making out at Drai’s Nighclub in Las Vegas, which was followed by an intimate Topgolf outing.
They attended Kevin Hart’s wedding to Eniko together the following month, but the nature of their romance was never quite clear. Our sources tell us that while the two were very much “seriously dating” and had “a great relationship,” the timing was not great for full-blown commitment.
Kardashian wasted no time moving on, however. In September of that year, she went public with Tristan Thompson. The two were on and off for years until the NBA star, 31, admitted in January that he fathered another woman’s child. Kardashian and Thompson share 3-year-old daughter True.
Sources told Page Six that Kardashian and Songz “never had any bad blood” after they stopped dating and frequently kept in touch. We’re told they “always had a lot of love for each other” and that they’ve been there for one another in bad times, especially in recent years.
It’s certainly possible the exes are giving their romance another shot. Their Nice Guy rendezvous came just days before an insider told E! News that Kardashian is “getting back out there and [is] ready to move on” from Thompson.
“She seems open to it and is interested in going out and having fun. … She is slowly getting out on the dating scene and excited to meet someone new.”
A second source added that the reality star “feels a sense of relief and excitement to move on to the next chapter, and is open to what the future holds. Khloé is a really optimistic person and knows she will find love again.”
As Kardashian’s drama with Thompson has been playing out, Songz has been making headlines for a series of allegations over the years, all of which he has denied.
Most recently, the “Na Na” singer was sued for $20 million by a woman claiming he raped her in March 2016. He has denied the allegations and accused Ariel Mitchell – one of the attorneys representing the alleged victim – of witness tampering in a separate case.
