She’s saying “I don’t” to wedding planning.
Kristen Stewart teased that she and fiancée Dylan Meyer are ready to elope any day now in lieu of throwing a grandiose ceremony.
“I’m so unceremonial. I think we might just go do it this weekend or something … and then, like, just hang out with everyone afterwards,” Stewart said on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” Monday, adding that she’d prefer to just “have a big party.”
The “Spencer” actress, 31, admitted she’s not necessarily cut out for all of the planning that would go into her big day.
“I just want to do it,” she explained. “I’m not a good planner. I can’t make plans for dinner. I like to pivot. You never know where I’m going, man.”
The “Twilight” star announced in November that Meyer had popped the question to her after two years of dating.
“We’re marrying. We’re totally gonna do it,” Stewart said on SiriusXM’s “Howard Stern Show” at the time. “I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted, and she nailed it. We’re marrying. It’s happening.”
The Golden Globe nominee recently shared that she and the screenwriter were able to host an engagement party amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We were kind of moving about the world a little more freely at the time,” she said on “Live with Kelly and Ryan” Monday. “We did have an engagement party, which was nice and lucky and obviously not something we could have done now, so I’m thankful for that.”
The couple met on a movie set in 2013, but they did not reconnect until they ran into each other at a mutual friend’s party in 2019.
“We met years ago and then sort of re-met before the pandemic,” Stewart said Monday. “And we got engaged — I guess it’s still the pandemic, so yes, I guess it’s a pandemic engagement. But it wasn’t at the height, it wasn’t full lockdown.”
The “Snow White and the Huntsman” star previously dated Michael Angarano, Robert Pattinson, Alicia Cargile and Stella Maxwell.
