Kyle Kuzma, who opted out of $13 million this season, is getting paid.

Kuzma is reportedly set to earn $102 million over the next four years to remain with the Wizards following a career season, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The 6-foot-9 combo forward averaged 21.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 3.7 assists last season in a contract year and is part of the Wizards’ rebuild alongside Jordan Poole and Tyus Jones.

Kuzma, who turns 28 in late July, took advantage of his shorter deal with the Lakers to get this nine-figure extension heading into his prime, as Wojnarowski noted.

The forward tweeted his excitement about staying in Washington, saying he’s “committed” to getting things improved for the Wizards, who finished 12th in the Eastern Conference with a 35-47 record.

Kuzma is expected to be a top-two option for the Wizards offense this season.
