University of Texas linebacker JK Ehlinger was found dead on Thursday in Austin,
Police were called to an off-campus address and found the body of Ehlinger – the younger brother of the former Texas quarterback and recent Indianapolis Colts draft pick Sam Ehlinger – later that afternoon, Longhorn Publishing Hook ’em reported.
According to the outlet, the circumstances surrounding his death were not immediately clear, but officials said they did not consider it suspicious.
Jake Ehlinger joined the team as a walk-on in 2019, Hook ‘Em reported. He was yet to play a game for the Longhorns.
He was studying at the McCombs School of Business in UT Twitter account.
According to the report, JFL’s photo was accidentally shown on the NFL Network on Saturday.
