Mark Consuelos may need to do some shopping.
On Thursday’s episode of “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” co-host Kelly Ripa joked about her husband’s hot body – and tight wardrobe.
“He can’t fit in any of his clothes,” Ripa, 51, revealed. “He’s like, ‘I can’t button these shirts. Did you do something to them?’ Like, ‘Yeah, I secretly, behind your back, sewed them all a little bit tighter!’”
Turns out, Ripa wasn’t the only person Consuelos, also 51, was venting to about his wardrobe issues.
The “All My Children” alum’s co-host, Ryan Seacrest, shared a similar conversation he had with Consuelos just one week prior.
Seacrest, 47, recalled the “Riverdale” star saying, “Bro, I got too big.”
“I go, ‘What do you mean you got too big?’” the “American Idol” host shared. “[He said], ‘I can’t fit into any of my suits.’ I said, ‘What happened?’ He goes, ‘I was lifting weights.’ Now I feel him, he’s jacked, right? But it looks like his world is ending in his mind because of it.”
Ripa told Seacrest that she’s very on board with her husband shopping for new attire – as long as he commits to the same bare-chested look Timothée Chalamet rocked to this year’s Oscars.
“What’s funny about that is, right now he’s cleaning out his closet and he’s getting rid of all of the shirts that are too small. Which is all of the shirts,” Ripa said.
“So I’m like, ‘Will you be wearing a suit tonight without a shirt?’ Because I’m pro Timothée Chalamet, I want to see that!”
Of course, Consuelos isn’t the only ripped one in the family. In October 2021, Ripa posted a steamy picture of her toned backside to Instagram.
The pair met on the “All My Children” set in 1955 and got married just a year later. They share three children: Michael, 24, Lola, 20, and Joaquin, 19.
