Missing 20-year-old mother remains in Florida

Authorities said a 20-year-old missing mother in Florida has been found dead in a shallow grave.

Niesha Nelson has been identified on Saturday from the remains found near train tracks in a wooded area near Crescent City. News station WJXT reported.

He was last seen on February 11 at Middleton-Burney Elementary School, dropping his 5-year-old daughter. News station WJAX reported.

But when his family did not listen to him, they informed him of the disappearance of the authorities.

Investigators found Nelson’s 2008 Honda Accord less than five miles into the woods, where officers uncovered his remains.

Putnam County Sheriff’s Office Colonel Joseph Wells

They said they believe Nelson was the victim of a murder, although they have not identified any suspects in the murder.

“Investigation reveals the possibility that she knew the culprit. It was not a haphazard act of stranger on stranger violence, ”he said.

He said that his abandoned car could give some clues as to who was responsible.

“His car is going to be an important part of this,” he said. “Not so much a car – we have – but a car that was driving around or after Feb. 11.”

No further details regarding the manner of his death have been released, but an autopsy was ordered.
