President Biden has tapped Neera Tandon to serve as a senior adviser after withdrawing her nomination to serve as budget director of the White House in March.
In her new role, Tandon is expected to focus on possible changes to the Affordable Care Act if the Supreme Court repeals it, according to CNN, which broke the news of the appointment.
Tandon was slated to head the Office of Management and Budget, before facing backlash over controversial tweets that insulted Republican senators during his time at the Center for American Progress during the confirmation process Went, with at least one Democrat, removing his odds of achieving the position, Sen.
