Neera Tandon joins White House staff after derailing OMB nomination

President Biden has tapped Neera Tandon to serve as a senior adviser after withdrawing her nomination to serve as budget director of the White House in March.

In her new role, Tandon is expected to focus on possible changes to the Affordable Care Act if the Supreme Court repeals it, according to CNN, which broke the news of the appointment.
