He can’t hate her anymore, but he’s still not reading her book.

Nick Lachey has no interest in diving into his ex-wife Jessica Simpson’s memoir, “Open Book,” because he says he “lived the book.”

“You’ll be shocked to hear that I have not [read it] nor will I ever read it,” he told Andy Cohen on SiriusXM’s “Radio Andy” on Monday.

“Here’s the thing: Obviously, I knew the book was coming out, but I lived the book,” the 98 Degrees member added. “I know what the truth is, so I don’t need to read someone’s version of it in a story.”

Simpson, 41, and Lachey, 47, were married from 2002 to 2006.

Since their breakup, they have both remarried and each share three kids with their respective spouses, Eric Johnson and Vanessa Lachey.

“I’m thrilled to be where I’m at in life, and that was 20 years ago, so it’s honestly the last thing on my mind these days except when someone brings it up,” Nick told Cohen, 53. “I understand why people want to ask, but it’s so not a part of my life anymore that it’s not even on my radar.”

He concluded, “She’s doing her thing, and I’m doing mine, and that’s the way it should be.”

When “Open Book” was first released in February 2020, Nick was heard telling partygoers at a Miami fête that he had “not read a single word.”

He also told Us Weekly at the same event that his ex-wife “did not reach out before it was published.”

And yet, Simpson did not hold back on writing about her ex-husband in her No. 1 New York Times best-selling memoir.

The fashion mogul disclosed that she and Nick hooked up one last time in 2006 just before their divorce was finalized in June of that year.

The paperback edition of the “Public Affair” singer’s book dove even further into their relationship with the inclusion of journal entries that revealed her feelings about Nick dating Vanessa, 40, less than a year after their breakup.

“So, Nick, you’re with another already? Seems that you forgot the love you spoke to me,” Simpson wrote. “I’m saddened beyond belief. Alone in the dark, with no one to call my own.”

In December 2020, the “Dukes of Hazzard” actress signed a deal with Amazon Studios to bring her “story and heart” to life on the small screen.
