Nicky Hilton’s parents spilled the beans that she’s expecting a baby boy.
“She’s great! She’s working hard. You wouldn’t know it, [but] she’s got the bump,” Kathy Hilton, 63, told Extra at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Party 2022 on Sunday.
Flashing a big grin, Rick Hilton, 66, interjected excitedly, “I can tell you what she’s having!”
“It’s a boy,” he blurted out, as an equally smitten Kathy added, “It’ll be our first grandson.”
Rick made sure to note that the mom-to-be, 38, was already “telling people, so I’m not speaking out of turn.”
Kathy dished that her expectant daughter is “very, very happy” to be adding a boy to the mix.
Nicky and husband James Rothschild already share daughters Lily-Grace Victoria, 5, and Theodora “Teddy” Marilyn, 4.
The socialite’s rep confirmed to People in January that she’s expecting baby No. 3 in the summer, but did not disclose the sex of the child.
Though Kathy didn’t directly answer Extra’s follow-up question about how Paris Hilton’s own “journey to motherhood is going,” she did say that her oldest kid, 41, is “so, so happy and relaxed” these days.
Kathy shared that Paris and husband Carter Reum, who got married in November, are “happy as two little clams.”
The same week that news of Nicky’s third pregnancy broke, the “Simple Life” alum said she also had babies on the brain.
“I cannot wait [to be a mom],” the DJ dished to E! News’ Daily Pop. “That is definitely one of my top priorities.”
“I would want twins first. Or, I don’t know, it’s hard to say. I always wished I had an older brother because I feel like if I did, they would protect me and things like that in school,” she added. “So maybe a boy first.”
The business mogul has previously said that she feels creating a family is “the meaning of life.”
