NYC woman filed suit against landlord for negligence on landlord

A woman who was raped after opening the door to her Manhattan apartment posing as a delivery man to a stranger, sued the building’s owners, stating that between the complex and the adjacent parking garage There should be a closed door, new court papers.

The 27-year-old victim was allegedly knocked unconscious and raped by homeless man Eliza Kelly in her Coops Bay apartment on 30th Street on New Year’s Eve.
