According to police, a Connecticut student was stabbed while sleeping in his room due to a disagreement over a light in a college dorm room.
Henden police said in a press release that Friday morning’s attack in the Quinnipiac University hostel room left both students hospitalized.
A 20-year-old student told police that his roommate “jumped on him” and punched him in the face while sleeping.
Authorities said the roommate “cut her throat” with a knife.
In response, officers seized the weapon at 3:10 a.m. Both students were sent to Yale-New Haven Hospital for treatment, police said.
Hamden Police cannot be immediately reached for word on the charges.
Police said that the investigation revealed that the change in the argument that was made about a light in their room was detected by the police.
