The Raiders are entering the 2021 NFL Draft by choosing well, picking up four of the top 80s.
One of the more interesting parts about the Raiders’ draft order is the fact that they get back-to-back picks in the third round (79, 80). He made a 3-round pick from the Cardinals after staying away from offensive lineman Rodney Hudson. The trade is also because the Raiders do not have a 7th round pick.
The Raiders’ 4-round selection also has an interesting history. Las Vegas traded that to take on the Dolphins and a 5th-round pick (which they still have) in exchange for Rayquon McMillan. But the Raiders got that selection back when they traded after giving Dolphin to Lynn Boden.
Several reports during the season also stated that the Raiders lost their 6-round pick due to a violation of COVID-19. But later it was reported that he did No Skip that format and actually still adopt it.

Raiders need NFL draft
- Offensive line: Roddy Hudson, Gab Jackson and Trent Brown were all debuts for the Raiders in 2020, and they are now on separate teams. The team also has Richie Gupt who is still in the team, but will likely be in the near future (37 years). The offensive line is clearly needed here for Las Vegas, and it would not be surprising to see the Raiders move to the O-line in the 17th.
- Defensive line: Las Vegas had just 21 sacks last season, the fourth-fewest sacks of any team. Las Vegas addressed this issue somewhat by associating with Yannick Ngakou, but greater depth is always good.
- Secondary: While “secondary” is a broad term for both Cornerback and Safari, it is a common requirement in 2021 for Las Vegas. A good secondary will also help generate a pass rush, which we mentioned as a requirement in the defensive row section.
