Ruby Gobert, LeBron James after Donovan Mitchell’s All-Star Draft says Jazz has no infamy

Jazz stars Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell were already upset over the NBA’s lack of respect from the team of stewards. Wait until you see the 2021 NBA All-Star Draft results.

All-Star captains LeBron James and Kevin Durant selected their teams on Wednesday, and the Roosters were shared during the “NBA on TNT” pregame show on Thursday night. Despite Utah sitting alone in the NBA standings with a 27–9 record, the two available Jazz players did not come off the board until the final two picks.

NBA ALL-STAR DRAFT: Full roster for Team LeBron vs. Team Durant

Durant chose Mitchell to fill his final reserve slot, leaving James with Gobert. Prior to his stunning pick, James said he needed some size, then took pacer big man Domantus Sabonis instead of dung.

TNT analyst Charles Barclay said, “I am not going to discredit this Utah Jazz right now.” “Come on brother…. He got the best record in the NBA, and his two best players are the last two standing. It’s slander. It’s slander, America.”

James responded to Barclay’s accusation of “blasphemy” – the Hall of Famer used blasphemy as a substitute for blasphemy, not the legal definition of the term – giving an explanation of what it contained, uh, video games?

“Utah has no infamy for jazz,” James said. “You guys can understand, as video games are growing up, we never played with Utah. As great as Karl Malone and John Stockton were, we would never choose those guys in video games. Never.”

First, Mitchell and Gobert fall into the draft, then James sinks on digital versions of Malone and Stockton? Oh boy. The next time he travels to Utah, LeBron will bring a large security team.
