Travelers were stranded at tri-state area airports Wednesday night as flash floods thrashed the region.

More than 120 flights at Newark Airport were delayed around 10 p.m., and 24 were canceled, according to the Port Authority’s flight tracking website. No flights were set to depart the airport until at least 11 p.m., sources said.

At Kennedy Airport, 108 flights were on hold and 18 were shelved, the site said.

LaGuardia Airport’s smaller roster of domestic flights were also affected, with 13 flights delayed and 6 cancelled.

In southern New Jersey, multiple tornadoes flattened homes in Mullica Hill, video showed.

A flash flood warning was in effect until the end of the night for all New York City boroughs except for Staten Island and southern Westchester County, and the city is under a tornado watch until the early-morning hours, according to the National Weather Service.

The furious weather lashing the area are the remnants of Hurricane Ida, which tore through Louisiana with wind speeds of 150 mph on Sunday.

The Bayou State remains crippled by widespread flooding and power outages from the deadly storm.
