Stacey Abrams Wants to Run for President

Voting rights activist Stacey Abrams wants to run for president someday, he said in an interview broadcast on Sunday.

“Do I have this as an ambition? All in all, “Abrams did” CBS Sunday Morning. “

The 47-year-old Georgia Democrat told interviewer Erin Mority that she felt the responsibility to say she had a goal to run – as an example for every young woman and person of color.

Abram said, “Again, it’s about you that you can’t refuse to dream.”

The Yale Law School-educated lawyer is making the rounds to promote his new novel, the legal thriller “While Justice Sleeps”. Abrams has also written eight romance novels using the pen name Selena Montgomery.

After missing a bid in 2018 to become governor of Georgia, his name was released as a potential vice-presidential candidate for Joe Biden last year and some hoped to be in the mix for governor again in 2022.

Last year’s presidential election credited Abram’s numerous efforts to help Democrats flip Georgia, as Biden became the first Democrat to take the state since Bill Clinton won in 1992.

Abrams contributed to the push for a by-election in January to boost voters in the Peach State that sent two Democrats to the Senate. Abrams told CBS that he looked through the “line” with that election and laid siege to the US Capitol on January 6, where some showed Confederate flags.

Abram said, “This flag is always a declaration of domestic terrorism against communities.

When asked about his busy business life, Abrams admitted that his past relationship ended his packed schedule and very public life.

But she said she hopes to meet someone who does not see the issues that the relationship is unfit.

“Yes. It is good for you to like someone and to like someone.” I have written a lot of books about it. “
