Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae Young are sharing highlights from their dreamy Maldives honeymoon just one week after tying the knot.
“Currently: Living in a postcard ? Words don’t do this place justice,” Young, 34, captioned a video of her watching a school of fish just outside their room at the Waldorf Astoria. “Tarek and I have been in awe since the day we arrived.”
The newlyweds have been honeymooning since Oct. 30, according to People. They are also scheduled to visit Dubai for three days before returning home.
El Moussa, 40, shared his wife’s sentiments by writing, “Feeling nothing but relaxed and at peace here. Missing my babies back home but I’ve got the perfect honeymoon spot and my perfect wife… I’m happy. ♥️”
Videos on both of their stories show the couple waking up early for a few “business” calls before heading to breakfast and then going on a bike ride where the groom teased his bride about her skills.
“She’s finally moving! She’s learning how to ride a bike,” the “Flip or Flop” host joked while recording Young riding just a few feet in front of him. When the “Selling Sunset” star turns around to look at her hubby, you can hear him tell her, “Don’t crash… look where you’re going!”
Other highlights from the well-documented honeymoon show the couple having a romantic dinner on the beach, taking selfies by the ocean and showing off their gorgeous, blinged-out wedding bands.
“Our rings symbolize our love and commitment to each other but when I look over at my love and see his ring it’s so much deeper than that. We chose each other and seeing him wear a ring that connects us means the world to me,” the former Playboy Playmate captioned two close-up photos of their rings.
Young added that she “designed Tarek’s ring with black diamonds because it felt like him- sexy, manly, and unique” and that she had it “engraved” to say “‘You and Me’ which is something special we say to each other.”
This is Young’s first marriage and El Moussa’s second, as he was previously married to his “Flip or Flop” co-host, Christina Haack. They divorced in 2018 after nine years of marriage.
El Moussa shares two children with Haack: Taylor, 11, and Brayden, 6.
