This may be the easiest bank ever.
$ 9,000 in the cold from Midtown Bank, a pair of bandits locked with hard cash – after a security guard left an entire bag of loot atop an ATM, The Post has learned.
According to police, the robbery occurred spontaneously inside the Chase Bank on March 2 at 11:30 at 390 Madison Avenue.
Police sources believe that one of the thieves stepped into the ATM area to take out the money and saw a sack of cash after throwing some lottery tickets in the dustbin.
According to sources, the man then went out and told his pal what he saw.
Surveillance footage released on Friday by the NYPD shows a second man walking into the bank and grabbing a bag of flour above an ATM.
Sources say it was overtaken by a guard with Brink’s armored truck service during the pickup.
The company did not immediately respond to a comment.
The robbers were still in the air.
