The woman seen in the video wearing a hat-trick after slapping the victim

Police said a 23-year-old woman allegedly used a handcuff to escape a female victim inside an Upper East Side apartment on Monday night and barricaded herself inside a freight elevator before fleeing.

The scuffle started inside a Mutual Friend’s building on East 85th Street near Second Avenue due to some dispute between the two women.

According to a police witness, after the suspect dropped the 29-year-old victim in the leg, he fell down from a building fire before serving customers at the East 86th Street Bodega, then stealing cigarettes before fleeing.

The suspect spent about 10 minutes inside the store, according to a worker who knew the woman and asked for help from a neighboring eater.

Surveillance footage obtained by The Post shows him behind a counter facing the hatchet in his right hand.

“He said ‘they’re coming for me – they’re going to murder me,” recalled the worker at the store.

“I told you about the shares. The worker said, “Now save my life.”

The worker said the woman took two packs of smokes, promising to pay him back, before he boarded the bus at First Avenue and East 86 Street.

The woman rode the bus one block west, then descended and locked herself inside a freight elevator inside a building on 86th Street.

Police freed her and took her to Veil Cornell Medical Center with a leg amputation, which she is believed to have fallen while escaping the fire.

One motive for the attack was not immediately clear.

The Bodega activist said the woman said “something about how to kill the cat.”
