The woman who died after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine had ‘unusual symptoms’: report

According to one report, a 60-year-old Danish woman who received the AstraZeneca Kovid-19 vaccine had “highly abnormal symptoms” before dying of a blood clot.

The woman had small numbers of blood platelets and clots in small and large vessels, Reuters cited the Danish Medicine Agency.

According to the news outlet, the agency cited some similar cases reported in Norway and in the European Medicines Agency database of pharmaceutical side effects.

“It was an unusual course of death that prompted a response to the Danish Medicine Agency,” it said in a statement on Sunday night.

On Saturday, Norway said three people under the age of 50 – who were treated in a hospital for receiving blood, blood clots and low count of blood platelets – were called by health officials as “unusual symptoms” .

Denmark, Norway and Iceland said last week they would stop the introduction of the AstraZeneca shot.

European vaccination programs have been shaken by recent reports that recipients of the AstraZeneca vaccine have suffered from blood clots.

The European Medical Agency has said that there are no indications that the cases were related to vaccination, a view that was echoed by the World Health Organization on Friday.

AstraZeneca tried to extinguish safety concerns after the emergence of blood clots in some people, preventing a dozen countries from using some or all of the supplements.

The British drugmaker reviewed safety data from more than 17 million people in the UK and EU, with no evidence of high risk for pulmonary embolism or deep vein thrombosis, clotting conditions Sunday statement.

According to AstraZeneca, there were no signs of high risk for thrombocytopenia or a low count of blood platelets.
