Tessa Thompson clarified her comments regarding Valkyrie exhibiting “erotic” powers in Thor: Love and Thunder.
Thor: Love and Thunder is one of Marvel Studios’ most exciting new releases of 2022. With Taika Waititi returning to the director’s chair, fans are certainly in for another unique spin on the God of Thunder. One of the characters making her return in this highly-anticipated new film is Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson).
Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie was officially crowned by Chris Hemsworth’s Thor as the new leader of New Asgard by the end of Avengers: Endgame. The upcoming sequel looks to give her an expanded role, and recently, Tessa Thompson made some interesting comments regarding some of her abilities having a bit of an “erotic” nature to them.
In a post to her official Instagram story, Tessa Thompson made a specific clarification regarding her comments on Valkyrie’s powers, and it turns out that it was made in reference to the comic books she’s been reading, rather than anything specific to Thor: Love and Thunder
itself.
Thankfully for Tessa Thompson, Thor: Love and Thunder will hit theaters this summer, and by then, we will finally get to see the triumphant return of Valkyrie, and how she will be leading New Asgard in the highly-anticipated film.
Directed by Taika Waititi from a script he co-wrote with Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, Thor: Love and Thunder stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, Christian Bale, Jaimie Alexander, Chris Pratt, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, and Jeff Goldblum. Matt Damon, Sam Neill, Luke Hemsworth, Melissa McCarthy, Ben Falcone, and Russell Crowe are also on board.
