Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton are engaged after three years of dating, Entertainment Tonight reported on Thursday.
The couple first sparked engagement rumors when she was spotted wearing a giant sparkler at the BAFTAs earlier this week.
Hiddleston, 41, was photographed looking dapper in a tux, while Ashton, 37, appeared ethereal in a flowing pink gown while walking the red carpet together in London on Sunday.
The English actress’ new piece of jewelry seemed somewhat hidden under her long sleeves, but the diamond ring was much more visible in a snap a pal shared from a BAFTAs afterparty.
British TV presenter AJ Odudu posted on her Instagram Stories a now-expired selfie of her, Hiddleston and Ashton, where the latter’s ring was in clear view as her hand was on Odudu’s shoulder.
The internet was set abuzz with reactions to the rumored engagement.
“y’all telling me I don’t have a chance with tom hiddleston anymore ?? no but fr I’m very happy for him if they are in fact engaged (just sad for me),” one person tweeted.
Another wrote, “I know I should be jealous that Zawe Ashton is engaged to Tom Hiddleston but I’m more jealous that Tom Hiddleston is engaged to Zawe Ashton. She’s an icon.”
Reps for the actors did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
Hiddleston and Ashton were first linked as a couple in 2019 while starring alongside each other in the West End production of “Betrayal” where they played each other’s love interests.
In September 2021, the “Loki” star and “Handmaid’s Tale” actress made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Tony Awards.
Last year, the pair were also rumored to have moved in together in Atlanta, according to The Daily Mail.
Hiddleston previously dated Taylor Swift for about three months, calling things off in September 2016.
