Trump, Melania received COVID vaccine before leaving White House

Former President Donald Trump and former First Lady Melania Trump were vaccinated for COVID-19 in January, The Post has confirmed.

The shots were administered privately at the White House before President Biden took office, said a man with knowledge of the vaccines.

The 74-year-old Trump publicly battled the virus in October and was hospitalized for three nights at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

The former 50-year-old woman also tested positive for the virus in October, but was not taken to the hospital for treatment.

Several political celebrities publicly took their shots to help build confidence, including Biden and former Vice President Mike Pence.

Trump made his first speech as a former president on Sunday at the Conservative Political Action Conference and anticipated the successful development of vaccines within a year of the outbreak of the epidemic.
