Tweet about police shooting ‘being used to generate more hatred’

NBA veteran LeBron James is complaining that his inflammatory warning to the Ohio police that shot 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant for “inciting more hatred” and racism.

The 36-year-old Ohio native gave his nearly 50 million followers a photo of Columbus Police Officer Nicholas Reardon as well as the ominous caption, “You’RE NEXT.”

Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton expressed his outrage, accusing the police of “inciting violence” with his “disgusting and dangerous” tweet.

“Is the NBA okay with this? Twitter Cotton asked on Wednesday.

Hours later, James said he was a victim of people misinterpreting his message.

“I took down the tweet because its [sic] Being used to generate more hatred, ” He tweeted

“This is not about an officer. It is about the whole system and they always use our words to make them more racist, “he said,” He was very tired of seeing black people killed by the police. “

“I am desperate for more optimism,” he wrote.

Followed their hold Prior message Explaining that despite the removal of the incendiary, his anger “is still here for the lil girl,” referring to Bryant, who was shot while stabbing another girl with a knife.

“ANGER does good to any of us and includes ourselves! Collecting and educating all the facts does though! ” She wrote.

Reardon was identified Wednesday as the officer who shot Bryant as he stabbed one of the two girls with whom she was molesting. He later died in a local hospital.
