Virgin Islands AG lost bid to freeze Epstein Estate property

The US Virgin Islands Attorney General has lost its bid to freeze Jeffrey Epstein’s property.

AG Denise George sought to freeze the property of the 66-year-old dead sex par after a compensation fund for his victims led to new claims being shelved as the property did not have cash.

George argued that the executors of the estate were misusing the funds and prioritizing frivolous spending on the victims.

Since the executors claimed that the property still totaled $ 240 million – below estimates that went as high as $ 634 million – the property was largely unique, as they had been to Epstein’s assets, aircraft and other Were struggling to sell assets.

Co-execs Richard Kahn and Darren Indyke said in court letters filed yesterday in that case that George’s claims were “misguided and virtuous.”

The court papers alleged that the proposed claims are part of the government’s concerted effort to thwart the orderly administration of the Epstein Estate co-executors.
